Tips for Achieving Ultimate Relaxation

The last year has taken its toll on all of us in so many different ways. The one thing we all could use some more of right now is relaxation. We’re not talking about that 5-minute catnap you took on your lunch break, we’re talking about deep relaxation.

Keep reading for some of our best tips that will help to bring you to a calmer and more happy state.

Take a Bath

There is nothing more relaxing than a long soak in some hot water. We’re not sure if it’s the solitude that does the trick or if it’s the actual bath itself, but something about a bath removes all of the stress from your day.

One way to kick your bath up a notch is by adding Epsom salts to the water. Epsom salt is high in magnesium which helps to soothe your joints and reduce muscle swelling and inflammation. They also help to improve your body’s circulatory systems and promote blood flow.

Light Some Candles

Whether you’re taking a bath, reading a book, or just resting, step up the experience by lighting a few candles. We recommend burning soy-based candles instead of standard petroleum-based candles because they are non-toxic, better for your indoor air quality, produce very little soot and burn longer.

Check Off Your To-Do List

One of the biggest stressors in life is the unfinished to-do list. When those leftover tasks are hanging over your head, it can be really difficult to wind down at the end of the day, feeling like you have unfinished business.

If any of the items left on your list include scheduling maintenance on your HVAC system, water heater, or indoor air filters then give us a call and we’ll take care of that to-do list ASAP. Call us at (847) 383-0350 or visit our website for more information.
